Founder & CEO

Evan Sigvaldsen

Evan Sigvaldsen founded ItsVisual to turn raw security and operational video into findings a business can review and act on. His career runs through three fields that rarely meet: physical retail, machine learning, and cinematic video production.

1. 1

   Retail and product invention

As co-founder of SIGVAL LLC, he spent more than seven years inventing, patenting, and manufacturing physical products sold direct to consumers. Running that business meant living with inventory, supply-chain logistics, and the daily friction of a physical operation. Those are the same kinds of problems ItsVisual now reads from existing camera footage.

2. 2

   Machine learning

Before ItsVisual, he founded CognitiveUi, where he engineered and deployed predictive forecasting models, large language models, and adaptive interfaces for e-commerce financing. That work is the technical base for systems that do more than watch video. They look for behavior, patterns, and operational anomalies.

3. 3

   Video production

A video-native platform has to treat footage as a pipeline. As the award-winning director and producer of Imagine Symphony Live, Sigvaldsen spent years on multi-camera production, high-throughput editing, and digital media delivery.
